THE BOSTON MARATHON

The Boston Marathon is the world's oldest annual marathon and ranks as one of the world's most prestigious road racing events. The Boston Athletic Association manages this American classic, which is sponsored by John Hancock Financial Services. In 2016, The Sports Museum was fortunate enough to join one of the world's most prestigious road racing events, The Boston Marathon, for the first time in our history. We are thankful to continue this program with six (6) entries for The Sports Museum 2019 Marathon Team. This year, our philanthropic efforts will again be dedicated to our award-winning educational program that leverages the power and example of Boston sports to help stop bullying in our schools and in our community, Boston vs. Bullies.

The Sports Museum has six (6) runners to help raise money for Boston vs. Bullies. Boston vs. Bullies is an award-winning educational program from The Sports Museum that leverages the power and example of Boston sports to help stop bullying in our schools and in our community. Thanks to funding from The Highland Street Foundation, New Balance, and others, we are able to bring Boston vs. Bullies to schools and afterschool programs free of charge. To date, more than 85,000 upper elementary and middle school students have experienced this award-winning program
