As we head into the Fall of 2022, The Sports Museum is happy to announce that we will have our fifth NYC Marathon team! We are very thankful to be able to have a team participate in this fantastic marathon taking place in the Big Apple.
This year, our philanthropic efforts will again be dedicated to our award-winning educational program that leverages the power and example of Boston sports to help stop bullying in our schools and in our community, Boston vs. Bullies. We are thankful to the The Sports Museum 2022 Marathon Team for fundraising and running for us.
For more information on ways you can get involved with The Sports Museum’s New York City Marathon Team, please contact Rachel Locke at rlocke@sportsmuseum.org or call (617) 624-1231.

The Sports Museum helps raise money for Boston vs. Bullies. Boston vs. Bullies is an award-winning educational program from The Sports Museum that leverages the power and example of Boston sports to help stop bullying in our schools and in our community. Thanks to funding from New Balance, The TJX Foundation, and others, we are able to bring Boston vs. Bullies to schools and afterschool programs free of charge. To date, more than 200,000 upper elementary and middle school students have experienced this award-winning program.

At The Sports Museum, we celebrate the character of Boston sports — the unique brand of teamwork, determination, responsibility, courage, fairness, and other qualities of character possessed by our teams and athletes that make Boston “The Greatest Sports City in America.” Equally important, we use this distinctly rich heritage to help build character in kids so that they can stand strong in the face of drugs, violence, and other dangers.
