The Sports Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational institution that relies heavily on its generous donors to carry out its mission of helping help at-risk kids in the Greater Boston Area through a variety of community outreach programs, including our Boston vs Bullies anti-bullying program, our Stand Strong character education program, and many others.

We are accepting donations for our 2019 Annual Fund! We wouldn't have made it to 42 years without support from people like you, so thank you.

By donating to The Sports Museum Annual Fund, you are providing a crucial source of income that helps support both the museum and its educational programs.  The aid that we receive from our community of supporters directly ensures our ability to impact kids in the Greater Boston community.  Therefore, every gift, no matter the amount, is integral to our continued success.

Each donor has the ability to choose which program he or she would like to support, with 100% of the gift being tax deductible.

Thank you to our generous supporters for the 2016 Sports Museum Annual Fund. Donors to our annual fund provide the crucial unrestricted support that helps the museum meet its greatest needs.

The Sports Museum honors our leading athletes and citizens by preserving and showcasing the distinctly rich sports heritage of New England through an unparalleled collection of artifacts, multimedia, works of art, and interactive exhibits. Located on Levels 5 and 6 of the TD Garden, we have more than a half-mile of exhibits on display celebrating the character (and characters) of Boston sports.

Our collection is largely a result of generous donations from former athletes and coaches, sports fans, and other individuals.

If you would like to make a donation to the collection of The Sports Museum, please contact a member of our curatorial staff:

Brian Codagnone, Associate Curator

The Sports Museum is happy to help support other local non-profit organizations through in-kind donations. As you can imagine, we receive many requests from worthwhile organizations from all over New England. Our goal is to fulfill as many requests as possible, but due to the overwhelming number of requests received, and because of our own personal non-profit status, we are unable to support every organization with a donation. We love our community and want to help as much as we can!

Be sure to include the name of your organization, the specific event or initiative you are raising money/support for, how we may be able to help, contact information for shipping the donation, and the requested due date.

We are no longer accepting requests via mail, email or over the phone. ALL requests must be processed through this form.

We kindly ask that you allow at least 4 weeks for us to process your request.
