The Sports Museum Tour is our signature experience and one of the most unique things to do in Boston for sports fans, families, and visitors.
Located inside TD Garden, this guided tour explores the athletes, teams, moments, and traditions that have helped shape Boston sports history. Whether you’re visiting Boston for the first time or you’re a lifelong New England sports fan, the Sports Museum Tour offers a memorable look at the people and events that have defined our city’s championship legacy.

Interested in an educational experience at the Sports Museum? Look no further than the Field Trip Tour at the Sports Museum! Perfect for any educational group, as well as summer camps, the Field Trip Tour is an engaging experience that brings the history of Boston sports to life. Learn about the figures that define Boston sports, both on and off the playing field.
Field Trip Tours require 1 chaperone for every 10 students. All chaperones will be admitted free of charge.
Field Trip Tours MUST be booked at least two weeks in advance.

The Sports Museum offers Private Large Group Tours during our regular business hours at a discounted private group tour rate. Private Large Group Tours take approximately 1 hour and are customized to your group’s needs and interests.

Offered primarily during the offseason (June-August)**, this tour explores TD Garden from the inside out. Experience the energy of Boston’s premier arena and uncover the stories behind every game, concert, and unforgettable moment! Lasting 45-60 minutes, guests can expect to enjoy:
**On rare occasions, the Sports Museum is granted permission to offer the TD Garden Arena Tour during hockey and basketball season (when each team has an off day). Otherwise, we gain regular access during the summertime.
The availability of the TD Garden Arena Tour is subject to restrictions associated with venue activity.
